I was introduced to Gibson Capital as the audit manager of the external financial audit team. I spent about three years serving in that role before leaving public accounting. Shortly after notifying Gibson Capital of my transition to a non-profit organization, Roger Gibson called to offer me a position at Gibson Capital. We met for lunch, and the rest is history!
I am a key member of the firm’s practice management team. I manage all aspects of the firm’s corporate finance and accounting functions, contribute to benefits and insurance administration, and assist with compliance audits. I have more than two decades of experience in public and corporate accounting, with technical expertise in financial reporting and audit and assurance. I am our primary point of contact with the firm’s external accounting and finance professionals.
I earned a Master of Science in Accounting from Grove City College, am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and earned the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE®) credential. I reside in McCandless with my husband, Todd, and sons, Patrick, Nathan, and Justin. In my free time, I enjoy watching sporting events, walking my two English Goldens, and spending time with friends.
